My septum was pierced in early august.
The healing process has been going great and I have been taking great care of it. However, it is still slightly sore if i poke the tip of my nose. Is there a reason its not healing as fast as normal?

I’d say for the piercing to only be a couple of months old, that’s pretty normal for it to still be healing. Most piercings take at least a few months to really settle down and heal well. If it hurts, stop poking it. :)

  1. When I had my septum done it was painful for about six months. I didn’t play with it, our dog just liked to jump up and touch noses…made my eyes water every time.
