no dimples?

ive always wondered if getting your cheeks pierced has the same effect without dimples as it does with, and if they are removed what kind of scarring remains?

Cheeks can be pierced with or without natural dimples.
Some people find that the scars that remain after removal of cheek piercings can leave very significant dimpling in the cheeks as well as a small hole where the jewelry was.

  1. I didn’t have dimples when I got mine and now I do when I smile, with or without the jewelry in!

  2. Yep, my friend had her cheeks pierced, I don’t know for sure but I think the jewellery was too short, so she ended up taking them out about 2 or 3 weeks afterwards, and now she has really noticeable dimples, especially when she smiles.

  3. I’ve had my dimples pierced for nearly 4 months before removing them and I now have dimples. The scar is rather small in my opinion and I like the dimples. Even after i removed the jewelry a month ago i still have the dimples. They my new life long friends i suppose.
