after building up the courage i went to my piercer today and asked for a PA. he took me through the procedure and we got ready. as the piercer pulled down my foreskin he had a quick examine and told me i had too many large veins on both sides of my penis and that it would bleed too much if he pierced me. is this factual? he said its a round 1 in 10 that have too many veins.

I have never not been able to pierce a PA due to blood vessels in the way. The thickness of the tissue being pierced in a standard PA is so thin and flexible that even if there were prominant blood vessels, they could be rolled out of the way for the piercing to be done.

The penis is a pretty vascular area. I’ve done some piercings in the area that have done some pretty impressive bleeding afterwards. Besides some swelling and a bit of residual bleeding, it’s not that big of a deal.

  1. Try someone else. A more experienced piercer who can work freehand should have better luck. Chances are it’s not that you can’t get the piercing, it’s that they’re covering themselves in case you bleed more than usual and freak out.

If you do end out having the piercing and it bleeds more than you expect, don’t freak out. A little bit of spilt blood looks like a lot (just think about cutting yourself shaving), and you’ve got to lose a stack of it to have health problems.

During periods of messy healing I’ve lost up to maybe 1/4 cup per day of blood and never suffered any ill effects other than a hell of a mess to clean up…

  2. I had the same problem. when i went for a PA over 10 years ago the piercer said exactly the same thing.

However he did offer to do a reverse PA. and 10 years on i still ove it

he did explain that whilst there was no problem doing the piercing. the probelm would be afterwards, theretical with an erection. the tissue might split around the veins. which would cause severe bleeding.

  3. I bled like a stuck pig after both my ampallang and apadravya. I can’t imagine a PA being any worse.

A modification artist I know always says “No matter what, the bleeding always stops.”
