do you have to be fully shaved to get a Christina piercing

  1. What i advise my clients is if you fully shave on a regular then yes go ahead if not i suggest they trim any pubic hair down and i can work better.

    The reason being is they don’t normally shave all the way they can irritate the skin and or can have ingrown hairs and this can delay the healing or possibly irritate it during the healing process

  2. I completely agree with the above - it’s not only unnecessary to shave, but it’s proven to actually irritate the skin and increase risks of infection and problems. Trimming the hair is a much better option, and that’s easy enough to do with scissors when the client comes in and is being prepped for the piercing!

  3. What I like to tell female clients interested in this piercing is to just keep it real. No matter what kind of grooming an individual engages in, staying true to one’s self is what’s going to make the most difference.
