I am thinking about getting eyeliner tattooed on me, but I’m not not sure if I should go to a tattoo place or get it done by some type of a “beauty spa”. also, what are the risks?
You should go to someone who specializes in cosmetic tattooing. No, Johnny tattoo on the corner should not do this for you and no, your average beauty sap should not either. Find a specialist, look at their portfolio and ask to see healed results.

Hi Shawn, you saucy minx!
I have a question about tattoos and outlines… I will be getting a piece consisting of a lot of natural and organic elements (the forest floor), and I don’t want any outlining in the piece. Would this cause problems, particularly where dark and light colors meet? Or would “blood-lining” be an option here? I will be discussing this in more detail with my artist, but I wanted to know what you thought as well.
Thank you!
Blood lining is indeed an option, and yes… I’m a saucy MINX.

When i got my chest tattooed I wore a triangle-style bathing suit top, one where two triangles of fabric are tied together behind the neck, and slide along a band around your ribs. The triangles can be shifted, so there was no need to be completely topless.
Word. When I had my throat tattooed last week, I wore a jockstrap. But the point is, there are always options.

I have a questiong about chest tattoos. I’m planning on getting a chest piece done within the next 2 years(after I get married , as not to freak out my family) and I was wondering if the tattoo artist would have me lay down on my back, have me sit up or have me in a reclining position for the tattoo. It seems that when I lay down on my back my breasts fall bacl alittle too much(if that makes sense) in order to get a workable surface. And would I be able to keep my bra on?! haha
Thanks so much!
Depends on the size of the piece, and the preference of the artist as to how you’ll lay/sit when you get it done. And the same goes for the bra- if it gets in the way, obviously it’ll have to be moved, but most women rarely get tattooed completely topless.

I’m about to start a tattoo apprenticeship, and I’m also vegan. Are there any animal products in tattoo ink or any of the other products used in a typical shop? If so, what are their alternatives?
Thanks!
Some tattoo pigments contain glycerin. Inkedblog.com there’s a discussion thread with info you may find helpful.

I would like to get a tattoo on the back of my thigh. I’m not a skinny girl though, i’ve got pretty big thighs. Is there any reason why i shouldn’t get a tattoo there?
Heck no, big canvas = more possibilities!
